SEIM & the CAUCASUS:

SEIM Analytics and South Caucasus: With primary focus on the Western Balkans, Central Europe, Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine, SEIM Analytics has a secondary but targeted analytical focus on South Caucasus, with emphasis on election analysis, conflict analysis, and mediation and dialogue facilitation to achieve peaceful conflict resolution.

On two occasions, Seim had the opportunity for in-depth insights from the field while for OSCE/ODIHR observing the presidential election in Armavir Province in 2008 and in Aragatsotn Province (Talin area) in 2022 in ARMENIA

SEIM Analytics looks forward to an upcoming research trip to AZERBAIJAN.

Kutaisi in GEORGIA was visited for election observation purposes in 2018 (Observed was the Vani district, southwest of the city of Kutaisi, a mostly rural and partly mountaınous area covering the lowland by the Rioni River and stretching towards the Meskhetian mountain range). Also, Mtskheta, and Tbilisi was explored. SEIM Analytics monitors the situation in the separatist republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, and the political dynamics in Georgia. In February 2008, Seim warned about a crisis in Georgia (South Ossetia).
